'When we first saw this house, it reminded us of villas in the South of France and made us feel like we were on holiday. We bought the house nearly four years ago, and have thoroughly enjoyed making it our home. We have had countless barbeques here with friends and family, as well as children's birthday parties. Our children have loved playing in the garden, whether in the cubby house, in the blow up pool, or riding their cars and bikes around the house. The 'sandy park' on Countess Street has also been a favourite, and is only a short walk. For us, this home has been more convenient than we imagined. Balmoral beach is less than 2 kms (which is less than a five minute drive or a 25 minute walk). The local shops, restaurants and theatres in Mosman and Cremorne are even closer, at a ten minute walk. We also both work in the City and our daughter attends Middle Harbour Public School. The school is absolutely wonderful and only around the corner. While you cannot see from the house the bus stop for the 243 to the City (on which you can get a seat!), it is only a short 50 m walk down Macpherson and the ride to the City takes a mere 15 minutes. Not to mention the BP garage, which has saved a barbeque or two (because we forgot something at the shops). It is time for us to move on, but we hope the next owners enjoy this home as much as we have.'
